March House Farm Butchery near Melton Mowbray was established in 1999 by Michael and Heather Belcher. It began as a small enterprise selling our home grown beef and lamb at one weekly farmers market, to today’s busy bespoke farm butchery selling all our own home grown beef, lamb and pork, hand made sausages, home cured bacon, gammon and ham and cooked meats, we also sell mutton and veal seasonally, and Christmas turkeys, geese and three bird roasts.
March House Farmhas grown since 1999 to incorporate Manor Farm, Little Dalby and sons Daniel and Thomas both work within the farm and butchery business.
An on-farm butchery was built at March House in 2005 and now employs two full-time butchers and an assistant, this enables us to offer a first class butchery service to our customers. We attend several regular weekly farmers markets and the butchery is open for customers to call. You can also visit us in Rothley, Leicestershire on Saturday mornings - Dominic at David North.
All our stock is reared to the highest standards by ourselves and uses traditional breeds of beef, lamb and pork. Lincoln Red and Angus beef, Masham and Suffolk lamb, Gloucester Old Spot, Large White and Large Black pigs.
